The Fantasy Fix and Draft Kings have partnered together to give you the best fantasy and gaming experience, offering hockey fans two games to play via Draft Kings. Their ‘One-Timer’ and ‘Daily Dollar’ games offer affordable, competitive fun with payouts suitable for the beginner and the seasoned veteran.

The gist is simple: pay to play, play to win. One top five finish can sufficiently supply your gaming fix for weeks. The small buy-in amount ($5) makes it easy to spend a small amount to see how good you are at crafting your best hockey team. Speaking of teams, building your team is simple. Your team will consist of a starting five (C-LW-RW-D-D), a goalie, and three utility positions. Those three spots can be filled with any position that is not a netminder.

The one restriction you do have is the amount of money allotted to spend on filling your roster. Your total to fill nine positions is $50,000. To learn more about the scoring system and the nuts and bolts of games, check out the page linked here.

This will be my last roster for the season. Yes, there is one more week left, but I personally like to enjoy one week of the season as a fan. Winning money is always fun, but to be a fan is something money cannot replace.

Here is my final roster for Draft Kings this hockey season.

Center: Alex Steen ($6,000)

Left Wing: Brandon Saad (4,400)

Right Wing: Marian Hossa (5,300)

Defenseman: Brent Seabrook (4,600)

Defenseman: Duncan Keith (4,400)

Goaltender: Corey Crawford (8,600)

Utility: Henrik Zetterberg (6,300)

Utility: Patrick Sharp (5,400)

Utility: Mike Camalleri (5,000)

Total: $50,000

Team Notes

I am going all in on the Chicago Blackhawks for my last hurrah. They are healthy, hungry, and facing their biggest rival Friday night.

You could say I am all in on the Central Division as well. I have enjoyed watching Alex Steen come into his own this season after a great season for St. Louis in 2012-13. He faces a Nashville Predators team that just lost two top nine forwards to planned season-ending surgeries. I am a fan of Zetterberg’s game, and see him contributing a goal against the rival Hawks.

Mike Camalleri is my wild card play, as he has the task of face a red-hot goalie in Mike Smith. Smith has stopped 93 of his last 95 shots. The Yotes’ netminder surrendered five goals in their last meeting, so something has to give.

Thank you for reading and participating in the Draft Kings NHL money games. I hope next season produces more wins for everyone, unless it is against me. Do not forget to keep playing through the end of the regular season, and keep an eye out for me on Draft Kings. My username is jeffrotull44.
