The 2013 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft is in full-swing, so in honor of all the scouts out there, I’d like to take a quick look at some of the scouting reports made available to us by the fine folks at Diamond Mines.

Here are three scouting reports on future Hall-of-Famer Chipper Jones. You’ll notice that two of said reports are quite similar, with one scout missing the mark. Mind you, these scouts do hundreds-and-hundreds of these types of reports, so this scout shouldn’t be stoned for missing out on one. It’s a matter of numbers, it’s bound to happen.
