AL-/NL-only plays:

Top streaming options available in at least 50 percent of ESPN leagues

Wednesday: Miguel Gonzalez vs. Houston – Had recorded eight straight quality starts before his last start (4.2 IP, 6 ER). But he’s fared very well against tough lineups and has been able to go deep into games.

Corey Kluber vs. Chicago White Sox – Chicago ranks in the bottom five in wRC+ and walk percentage against righties, while Kluber has pitched well in four straight games.

Wily Peralta at Chicago Cubs – Peralta was roughed up in his last start, but the 24-year-old had put up a 0.87 ERA in the 41 innings preceding his run in with the Rockies.

Thursday: Joe Kelly at Pittsburgh – He probably won’t go very deep into the game, and he probably won’t strike out that many. But a quality start and a win are very realistic outcomes for Kelly.

Friday: Jhoulys Chacin at Pittsburgh – Despite scoring fewer than 3.5 runs a game in July, Pittsburgh hits righties worse than league average. Chacin has allowed more than two earned runs just twice in his past eight starts.

Sunday: Rick Porcello vs. Chicago White Sox – Porcello has a 2.08 ERA in his last four starts. If you take away Porcello’s three worst starts in which he’s allowed 22 earned runs in just 11 innings he’d have a 2.92 ERA, instead of his current 4.49.
