2013 Fantasy Baseball Daily Fix: August 30

DraftKings Team of the Day

Today I’m playing in a Triple Up contest where the top 12 finishers out of 40 participants can make a little cash. Also, it’s not too late to get involved in daily fantasy baseball at DK, and they’re also starting their NFL and college football games as well. So don’t forget to claim your deposit bonus when you sign up.

Player  Matchup Salary Note
SP – Julio Teheran  Miami  8,200 Marlins worst team against righties by far
SP – Taijuan Walker  Houston  7,500 It seems like a lot of rookies are having success in their debuts this season so I’ll roll the dice here. The Astros are 27th in wRC+ w/ 25 % Ks vs. righties
C – Yadier Molina  F. Liriano (L) 3,600  So cheap even though he’s top-scoring healthy catcher
1B – Chris Davis  CC Sabathia (L) 5,300 Usually don’t spend big at 1B, but Davis at NYY at 5,300 is a good value
2B – Kyle Seager Brad Peacock (R) 4,500 .898 OPS on the road this year
3B – Alex Rodriguez Miguel Gonzalez (R) 4,200 .917 OPS vs. righties this year
SS – Jose Reyes Ervin Santana (R) 4,300 Not a lot of good options, but Reyes has .360 OBP vs. righties
OF – Josh Hamilton
Wily Peralta (R)  4,200 .443 OBP, 9.5 PPG in last 11
OF – Allen Craig  Liriano 4,100 1.143 OPS in last 11
OF – Austin Jackson Zach Mcallister (R) 4,000 .930 OPS in last 11
