Fantasy Hockey Daily Fix, April 13th

Its Sunday and it’s the last night of the year for regular season NHL action! Many goaltenders are sitting this one out, and we have some of them confirmed for you so far.

The number one game to target will be Calgary @ Vancouver

Karri Ramo gets the start in net and he’s reasonably priced across the industry. Jacob Markstrom will likely start for the Canucks and he is god awful, so I will be definitely targeting the Flames forwards in this one.  Sean Monahan and Curtis Glencross is the line to target in my opinion, with some exposure to Joe Colbourne sprinkled in. Defenseman Mark Giordano is also a near lock for a point tonight, and he should definitely bring enough production to pay off his $10k salary on Draft Street.

For Vancouver, Zack Kassian has been red hot and his price has not yet risen accordingly. At just $4,600 he’s nearly a must start. Also, Nicklas Jensen is cheap and gets you exposure to the Sedin Twins.

Dallas @ Phoenix

With any goalie in net Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin are always in play. What happens when they go up against a rookie goaltender? Yeah. you know what to do. Mark Visentin is likely to start this one for Phoenix, and even if he doesnt, these two sharp shooters and slick-skating speedsters are sure to get multiple tally’s tonight as they get one more game in before their big series with the Anaheim Ducks. Expect them to see a healthy dose of minutes. I also have exposure to Erik Cole tonight, cause he is super cheap and gets me exposure to the third and fourth lines for Dallas — Phoenix is so bad defensively against depth lines. Finally, Jordie Benn is fairly cheap and he has good skills. .

Nashville @ Minnesota

Head Coach Mike Yeo has explicitly stated that he wants to get Zach Parise, Ryan Suter, Jason Pominville and Mikko Koivu quality ice time in this one to get them ready for the playoffs. After a 7-5 game against the Chicago Blackhawks for the Predators, that is a good enough reason as any, for me to fire up those Minnesota boys tonight. A big stack of those four guys in a GPP is a winning proposition, as is just getting some minor exposure. Of course, Matt Moulson is in play as well since Nashville is terrible defensively. Ilya Bryzgalov is a bit too expensive for me since Karri Ramo is just $18,000 but Bryzgalov should be good tonight.
