 John Wall (credits below) Just six games on the NBA schedule tonight, but I think the fewer the games, the better chance to win money. The reason is that if you take a little time, you can actually look at the bio of each player available and figure out who is outplaying their salary in the past few games.
If you don't have time for that, here's a few recommendations, starting with the bargains:
Beno Udrih, Milwaukee: He's at the minimum $55k on Daily Joust, but he's had double-digit fantasy points in four straight games.
Luke Babbitt, Portland: He's finally gotten off the bench for the Blazers made at least two three-pointers in five straight games, had double-digit fantasy points in three straight, yet is still just $55k.
Wes Johnson, Minnesota: Another $55k guy who regularly scores in double digits and plays the Kings, who are not good defensively.
Now for some midpriced guys:
J.J. Hickson, Portland: He's contributed immediately for Portland with at least 23 points in four straight games and he should exceed that again tonight at $114k.
John Wall, Washington: His price has fallen to $113K, but he gets to face Brandon Jennings, not a great defender, tonight.
Monta Ellis, Milwaukee: He hasn't found his consistency since trade to Bucks, but against Washington, he should break out.
For your studs tonight:Kevin Love, Minnesota: He's great every night, but should be better than usual inside against the Kings soft interior.

 Austin Daye (credits below) Big decisions to make tonight in daily fantasy basketball with 12 games on the slate and lots of injuries being reported this morning. Pay attention to the injuries right up to line-up deadlines and use them to your advantage. Here's a couple examples of players benefiting from injuries tonight: Austin Daye, Detroit: With both Rodney Stuckey and Ben Gordon out, he gets the start and he's only $65k on DailyJoust. He had big nights earlier in the season when he got the minutes, and he will do so again tonight. Iman Shumpert and Baron Davis, New York: Take your pick here because both will see more time with Jeremy Lin out, but I hate to have two mediocre guards from the same team on my roster, so I wouldn't pick them both. The other night I picked Davis and Shumpert turned out to be the better play. Rather than keep trying to guess, I'm sticking with Davis, in part because he's at $79k while Shumpert is $115k. Another bargain tonight is Luke Babbitt at $55. He had a career-high 16 points last night and while he might not duplicate that, the Blazers are clearly looking at their youngsters down the stretch so Babbitt will continue to get minutes. Here's some mid-priced guys that I think are solid buys: Ersan Ilyasova, Milwaukee: He's been a fantasy beast, but his price is falling as injuries have limited him recently. He's at $104k vs. Cleveland tonight, so take him. Kenneth Faried, Denver: He's been outplaying his $96k price tag, and that should continue against the Bobcats tonight. As for some studs: Al Jefferson, Utah: I love Jefferson against the Kings, who don't have a great defensive presence inside. Dwight Howard, Orlando: His price has dropped below $200k, and after the heat he has taken for his lackluster performance against the Knicks, I expect him to bounce back big tonight.  Luke Ridnour (credits below) Lots of injuries piling up around the league means that there are some cheap replacements available.
Luke Ridnour and Wes Johnson should benefit from Ricky Rubio's absence, Ian Mahinmi continues to play well with Brendan Haywood out for Dallas. Ronnie Brewer and Kyle Korver could see more time if Luol Deng can't go tonight and Dahntay Jones looks to get a spike in playing time without George Hill. Goran Dragic should start for Kyle Lowry.
Get a couple of those guys and you can save money to add a few studs. Derrick Rose should go big against Utah, whose opponents are regularly led in scoring by their point guard.  Glen Davis (credits below) A light six-game night on the NBA schedule with all games starting within one and a half hours of each other, so it's a sprint tonight. Finalize you lineups and everyone will be playing at the same time, no west-coast games to try and pull out a late-night win.
I don't see a lot of great cheap picks tonight, but there are some bargains.
Glen Davis, Orlando: Big baby has had double-digit fantasy points in eight straight games and remains 62k in Daily Joust.
Brandon Bass, Boston: He's just gone over 100k on Daily Joust, but he's still a good bet after getting 25 or more fantasy points in three of his last four games.
Amare Stoudamire, New York: He hasn't been as good as he should be and his price has dropped to 119k because of that, but he's coming off a 16-point, 13-rebound performance that was his best game in weeks.
Now for some studs you have to have:
Dwight Howard, Orlando: Playing Charlotte, he is likely to sit out the fourth quarter in a blowout, but he could have 40 points and 20 rebounds by then.

 Darko Milicic (credits below) A load of games tonight, so lets see who are the top picks.
For the cheapies:
Darko Milicic, Minnesota: The Timberwolves said after the All-Star Break that he would get more minutes and he had nine fantasy points in 19 minutes last night. Kevin Love is banged up and the Wolves are on a back-to-back, so I think Milicic is even better tonight at 55k on DailyJoust. Chris Wilcox, Boston: Had 15 fantasy points last night and should match that for 67k if Jermaine O'Neal is out again.
Jermaine O'Neal, Boston: See above, if O'Neal plays, he's only 68k and you start him instead of Wilcox. Either way, you should get O'Neal or Wilcox in your lineup for cheap.
Now for some mid-priced guys: Gustavo Ayon, New Orleans: He's playing about 30 minutes per game and getting nearly 20 fantasy points at less than 100k.
Marreese Speights, Memphis: He's 100k and outplaying that salary as a full-time starter who can get you a double-double, especially at home tonight.
And lastly, the studs:Greg Monroe, Detroit: He's a beast every night, but especially tonight against Charlotte. Add in the fact, he got a lot of rest in a blowout loss last night and he's a must-play.

 Alec Burks (credits below) The All-Star break seemed a bit too long for those of us loving daily fantasy basketball league games, but fortunately I cashed in a couple college hoop games to keep the momentum going.
The NBA resumes tonight with more than half of the teams in action, so plenty of options for the resumption of daily leagues.
Here's my picks for tonight:
First, the cheapies:Alec Burks, Utah: His playing time has picked up in the last two weeks and he has responded with double-digit fantasy points in five of his last six games, but still just 55k in DailyJoust.
Aaron Gray, Toronto: He's an inexpensive starting center who had 29 fantasy points in 30 minutes last time out.
Trevor Booker, Washington: He's still a bargain on DailyJoust at 77k and he's scored in double figures for fantasy points every game since becoming a starter with some big games in between. Milwaukee is soft inside, so a good matchup.
Now for some mid-priced guys:Tayshaun Prince, Detroit: Always undervalued, he's averaging more than 20 fantasy points per game in recent weeks at just over 100k on DailyJoust.
DeAndre Jordan, LA Clippers: Vinny Del Negro scared daily fantasy players when Kenyon Martin cut into Jordan's minutes, but his minutes are back and so are his steady performances.
And for the studs:Kevin Love, Minnesota: He's as reliable as anyone and coming off his three-point contest win, he may have some more confidence behind the arc. He also loves playing in his old college town of L.A.
Deron Williams, New Jersey: He's been hot and Jason Kidd won't slow him down.

 Rasual Butler (credits below) Quite a few Friday freerolls out there today if you can find them. That means get a couple good cheap picks so you can load up on studs.
Here's my picks, starting with the cheapies:
Rasual Butler: Out of nowhere, he played a season-high 27 minutes and had a season-high 10 points on Wednesday. Who knows if that continues if Jerryd Bayless returns, but if Bayless is out, Butler is one of the chepest guys out there and he may have played himself into a bigger role for the Raptors.
Aaron Gray: He's a starting center with double digit fantasy points in three of his last four games and Charlotte is weak inside, so he could produce.
Alec Burks: Tyrone Corbin has said he wants to see more of the rookie who has seen his minutes increase while scoring double digit fantasy points in two straight games.
And the studs:
Dwight Howard: Facing Milwaukee without a true center, he should dominate inside.
LeBron James: Going back to Cleveland sounds like a big night for LeBron.
Kevin Love: Coming off a huge game and Houston doesn't have much to stop him inside.
Now for a few mid-level guys:
Chris Kaman: Left for dead when the Hornets were waiting to trade him, he's averaged 33 fantasy points in his last two games.

 Quincy Pondexter (credits below) Quite a few Friday freerolls out there today if you can find them. That means get a couple good cheap picks so you can load up on studs.
Here's my picks, starting with the cheapies:
Quincy Pondexter: Out of nowhere, he played 36 minutes in his last game, double his minutes from any other game this season and had 22 fantasy points. He's cheap, so take him and hope the Grizz give him another long look.
Steve Novak: If you took my advice and played him Wednesday, he paid off with 28 fantasy points. Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudamire are still out, so stick with Novak.
And the studs:
Dwight Howard: Particularly in the freerolls, you have to have Howard against Atlanta because Zaza Pachulia isn't going to keep him from another 20-20 performance.
LeBron James: Like Howard, you have to have him in a freeroll against Washington's defense.

 Steve Novak (credits below) The new way to play Fantasy Sports is daily games and I'm addicted to sites like Daily Joust amongst others. This column is meant to give quick tips for those looking to make a few bucks...
First, the cheap guys:
Steve Novak: Got playing time after Carmelo Anthony was injured Monday and had 19 points in 17 minutes. He won't keep up that pace, but he should get plenty of playing time with Anthony still out and he's only about 3K.
Marco Belinelli: Has consistently gotten minutes since Eric Gordon was injured, but his play has been inconsistent. He's on a nice roll with double figures in three of his last four games. His 36 minutes played in his last game was his most in about a month and he responded with 18 points.
Now for the studs:
Blake Griffin and Chris Paul: I normally hesitate to play two guys from the same team, but these two should both star against the Cavaliers.
LaMarcus Aldridge: He's on a crusade to make the All-Star Game and Houston does not have much inside to stop him.

Miami, Memphis, Toronto, and Boston are playing, and here's the key: You must get Marc Gasol, the only legit center playing. Then grab Joel Anthony, Jermaine O'Neal, or Aaron Gray as you other center, my pick is Anthony.
You have plenty of money to grab a couple studs like James, Wade, Bosh or Pierce. I'm taking Wade and James.
Get one upper-tier, but not quite studly guy, like Rudy Gay, Mike Conley or Kevin Garnett and I'd recommend Rudy Gay.
There are some pretty decent mid-price guys to fill out the roster like Bayless, Barbosa, Allen, DeRozan, Amir Johnson, Brandon Bass, or Mayo. I'm taking Bayless, DeRozan, and Johnson.
