Thanks for using TheFantasyFix.com's "Quick Fix" feature.
I think each of the SP you listed have a ton of upside this year. Matusz, Bucholz, Eveland and Marcum will all see some nice days, but are also in the AL East. Whenever you play the Yankees, Red Sox & Rays about 18 times/year, you're bound to have some rough outings.
You may think I'm crazy, but I think Zito is going to have a decent season.
1. Zito (The curveball looks like it's back, has some decent run support now)
2. Matusz (Highest Upside, Baltimore is terrible, needs some run support)
3. Braden (Excellent ratio #'s)
4. Bucholz (Love Clay this year as long as Dice-K doesn't push him out of the rotation)
5. Marcum (Careful, coming off Tommy John)
6. Eveland (Did well in AL West but the AL East is a different animal)
7. Penny (New life in STL?)
8. Harrison (Should get run support)
9. Hochevar (Still young)
10. Gio (See above)

Comments: Any love for Jamie Garcia, Matusz, or Buchholz? I have a pretty strong five in Wainwright, Lester, Scherzer, Liriano, Penny, and Hudson. Thinking about dropping one or possibly just adding another. I did not consider Kazmir, Floyd or Latos.
Would you? They are also avail. in my 10tm. H2H lg.
I have Bedard and Webb on DL, hoping for a miracle in both.

With Bedard and Webb both on the 60 day DL, a miracle would be an understatement. However, if your league allows you to stash them on the DL and pick up other players to fill the empty spots, it can't hurt to keep them.
Love Matusz. Sky is the limit. He's on all of my teams. Unfortunately, he plays for the Orioles. So trying to predict how many wins he will have is almost impossible. Grab him if you can.
Same with Clay. Sky is the limit. There IS a reason why Boston wouldn't include him in any trades over the last few years. However, Dice-K is rehabbing in the minors right now, and one of the SP may get bounced from the rotation when he gets back. Wait and see.
Your rotation looks good. I would sell high on Scherzer if/when you can. The AL is not going to be friendly with him.
Kaz, Floyd belong on the wire. Keep tabs on Latos.
Try not to drop any of the starters, just add Matusz of you can.

Hey Dave thanks for the great question. Not sure if you saw but I actually just wrote an article on Jones and a few others making a resurgence this year. http://www.thefantasyfix.com/7/post/2010/04/back-from-the-dead.html I happen to have the same dilemma in my head to head league. It really depends on your team and if you have the extra space to add a devoted OF position. Personally i can't afford to have the extra OF, i need a utility guy for that spot. But Jones is definitely on my radar and if I wait too long i might regret it. His 6 homers are definitely the appealing factor, but you'll notice he only has 9 RBIs and 9 Runs so as of right now you'll be adding him for one main category. If you are lacking homers, then I say definitely pick him up and ride him as long as it lasts. The 3 stolen bases are an added bonus but don't expect big numbers in that category by years end.Remember those mid-season pickups are the ones that usually win the championship for you, but you need to stay on top of them and only ride them while they perform.
