Comments:
Pick the 2 players that will have the best remainder of fantasy season. Alexei Ramirez, Stephen Drew, Orlando Hudson.

The Fix:

It seems you have a very good problem on your hands.  I'm projecting big things out of all 3 players in the second half of the season. My rankings would be:

1.
Alexei Ramirez: After a disastrous first 6 weeks of the season has been on a tear. He is 2nd among SS with 10 HRs, 4th in SBs with 11, and 4th in RBIs with 38. At the end of the season he will be mentioned among the big 3 (Reyes, Ramirez, Rollins) as 1st Tier Short Stops for next year.

2.
Orlando Hudson: When Manny Ramirez got suspended Hudson was hitting .330.  No reason to believe his numbers won't go up upon his return. He recieved a 1 year deal from the Dodgers, so he is playing for another contract as well.  Expect career numbers across the board for this elite second baseman from here on out.

3.
Stephen Drew:  Drew is only last in these rankings because Ramirez and Hudson are TOP players at their positions. After a forgettable April where he did close to nothing hitting 1 HR, 3 Runs, & 5 RBIs he has really come on with 26 Runs 4 HRs 26 RBIs and batting well over .300. If you can stash him as insurance for Alexei you should.

Comments: In an AL only league, which would you start? Brett Cecil or Ervin Santana Thanks!

The Fix:
Thanks for using TheFantasyFix.com's "Quick Fix" feature.

As of right now, it looks as if Ervin Santana will be squaring off against the Colorodo Rockies @home vs. Ubaldo Jimenez tomorrow, 6/23. Ervin gave up 6+ ER in 3 of his last 4 outings, although he did look sharp vs. Detroit on 6/5.

Brett Cecil is slated to face Johnny Cueto and the Cincinnati Reds at home, Thursday, 6/25. In his last outing since being recalled, he went 7 innings, giving up three runs on 8 hits, walked 1 and struck out 4 in a no decision.

Although it's difficult to sit Ervin Santana, I think you have to here. He has been inconsistent as of late, his command is questionable and is facing Ubaldo Jimenez who has provided Colorodo with 3 wins in his last three trips to the mound.

Johnny Cueto got smoked his last trip to the mound and the Reds offense has been anemic as of late. Altough Brett may not be the long term solution, hope that his ratios are good and the Jays give him some run support.

Give Cecil the nod!
